Dr. Ketsela Tadesse graduated from Addis Ababa University, Ethiopia with a BSc degree in Physics in 1982. He joined the Geological Survey of Ethiopia under the Ministry of Mines and Energy in August 1982 and served the Geological Survey of Ethiopia in geothermal exploration project and geophysics department as junior geophysicist and geophysicist respectively. He earned his MPhil degree from the University of Leeds, UK, in exploration geophysics in 1997. He joined the Petroleum Operation Department, under the Ministry of Mines of Ethiopia. He earned his PhD degree in Petroleum Geosciences from the University of Texas at El Paso in 2007. Currently he is Director, for Petroleum Licensing and Administration Directorate under the Ministry of Mines of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia.
