Hakim is a US trained attorney, and currently leads the firm’s petroleum law and policy, immigration and environmental law practice. His work revolves around the establishment of operations for oil and gas operators and contractors in Uganda, and provision of advice on legal and regulatory compliance. His consultancy work experience endows him with a deep understanding of complex oil and gas legal and policy issues. He is also a lecturer of oil and gas policy at Makerere University, Kampala.
